There is nothing quite like the smell of freshly cut grass in the outfield or the aroma of a brat with fried onions when you are walking around the councourse looking for your seat. Baseball has a way of permeating all of your senses. The Arizona Diamondbacks hope to capitalize on that fact with 83 games scheduled yearly at Chase Field.

Within this section of the web site you will find all the information you need for your visit to Chase Field. You can begin with a review ofChase Field which gives you an in-depth look at the stadium and all the amenities that it has to offer. This includes things to see at the ballpark before and after the game.

The Arizona Diamondbacks first introduced a fan loyalty program in 1999 and they hope to have a new program this year. You earn points for every game you go to and you also earn points when you purchase merchandise and food at the ballpark. These points can accumulate until you win valuable prizes. Check the Diamondbacker's section for details on this program and a list of prizes available.

There are a lot of activities at Chase Field and one of the most frequently asked questions is what time does everything happen. Under the Game Day Timeline section you will find a countdown to all of the activities leading up to the first pitch of a game. Be sure to bring your baseball glove and a pen. You never know who might be out signing autographs before the game.  As if the game itself is not reward enough, the Arizona Diamondbacks have several promotions planned for the current season. In the Promotions section of the site you will find a list of dates when these occur as well as any details surrounding the game giveaways such as age limitations or edition sizes. All gates to the ballpark had out the promotional material so select the entrance with the shortest line.  The Game Day section is also where you will find the schedule for the upcoming season and a scoreboard of what happened at the game.

Watching baseball on television just isn't the same as being there.  If you're tired of the commercials and want to see a game in person you will need some tickets.  The Game Tickets section will provide you with all the information necessary to help you get the seats that you want.  This section includes infomation on season tickets and individual game tickets.  There is also a seating layout chart and a current ticket pricing matrix.  It's never been easier to go to a Diamondbacks game.

Finally, you will find information about the Spring Training facilities and schedules for the Arizona Diamondbacks. If you have never experienced Cactus League baseball, you don't know what you are missing. The small crowds and beautiful spring Arizona weather make this the destination of choice during the spring months. Don't forget to pack your camera and some sunscreen. The desert sun can wreak havoc on those who have been bottled up inside all winter.

    Ever wanted a behind the scenes look at the workings of Chase Field? The Arizona Diamondbacks offer tours of this popular downtown attraction daily. The tour which lasts approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes will give you a chance to see areas of the ballpark not normally open to the public during a game. You can see the visitor's clubhouse, the announcer's booth, the batting cages, the Sun Pool Party Pavillion, the Peter Pipers Clubhouse, the Diamondbacks dugout and other areas.

    Tour prices are $6 for adults; $4 for children 7-12 and seniors 60 and older; $2 for children 4-6; and children 3 and under are free. Proceeds from the tour program benefit Arizona Diamondbacks Charities. Tickets may be purchased at the tour window at the Chase Field Ticket Office on a walk-up basis or at least 48 hours in advance by calling (602) 514-8400. Special group rates are available. Limited space is available on each tour, please call in advance to reserve a spot.

    For Non-Game Days and during the Off-Season, tours are given Monday - Saturday at 10:30 a.m., 12:00 noon, 1:30 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. For Evening Game Days tours are given Monday - Saturday at 10:30 a.m. and 12:00 noon. For Afternoon Game Days no tours are scheduled. There are no tours scheduled on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day and New Year's Day. On Thanksgiving Eve, Christmas Eve and New Years Eve tours will be given only at 10:30 a.m. and noon. For more information, call the Tour Information Line at (602) 514-8400

    The off-season is still a busy time at the ballpark. Several non-baseball related activities go on during January and February including a monster truck competition and a Supercross motorcycle race. Each year in early February the turf at Chase Field will be replaced for the upcoming baseball season. This will give the grass ample time to grow leading up to the final two spring training games held at Chase Field before the regular season begins.
  • Fan Loyalty Program  ( 9 items )

    Since 1999 the Arizona Diamondbacks have sponsored a fan loyalty program that rewards fans for attending Diamondback games or shop at the Team Shop.  Initially the program was called the Frequent Fang Program.  With this system you were awarded points every time you attended a game.  At various intervals these points could be redeemed for prizes.  Shortly afterwards the program was changed to the Diamondbackers program.  This too was points based but also allowed you to gain additional points from purchases at the team shop.  This program like the Frequent Fang program had point thresholds which would allow you to redeem points for various prizes.  Beginning in 2006 the loyalty program changed again.  This incarnation was titled MVP Rewards.  The MVP Rewards program awarded points for attending games and through purchases at the team shop.  The program was also connected with some vendors at the ballpark allowing points to be earned buying concessions.  The MVP Rewards program was also connected to an online mall allowing the member to earn points when shopping via the Internet.  The program was administered by an outsourced vendor and in December 2006 the vendor ceased operations leaving the Diamondbacks without a fan loyalty program.  The team is currently working to find a replacement program and hope to announce something during the 2007 season.

    There is nothing better than going to a baseball game and no place better than Chase Field to see the Arizona Diamondbacks play.  Within this section you will find all the information you will need about game day at Chase Field.

    The Diamondbacks have several promotional giveaways identified for the season.  Selecting this section will provide you with a listing of what will be given at each game.  Not only is the current season listed but for historical purposes you can see what was given for each of the years the Diamondbacks have been a team.

    Of course you want to be in your seat before first pitch but there is so much more that goes on before the game actually starts that you are missing out on half the fun.  In the Timeline section you will find a listing of what activities occur and when leading up to the start of a ballgame.  This can be invaluable as you plan your outing to Chase Field.

    Although we would like the Diamondbacks to play at Chase Field every day, that is not possible.  The Schedule section will give you a listing of which dates the Diamondbacks are in town so that you can make sure you have tickets for every one.

    Sometimes you just can't remember part of the details around a ballgame.  The scoreboard section can help as it will show the outcome of each game played this season.  This can be helpful as you track the Diamondbacks progress throughout the season.

    Tickets to the Arizona Diamondbacks can be purchased through Ticket Master or at the Chase Field ticket office. There are several ways to save money when buying tickets to the game. The Diamondbacks offer day of game tickets and single game tickets. These are priced at three different levels. The most inexpensive tickets are for weekday games. Week-end games are priced at a premium while fifteen games during the season have been designated as Premier games. These include usually hard to get tickets to series against popular opponents.

    Besides single game tickets, the Arizona Diamondbacks also have packages where you can choose groups of games. Popular packages include the week-end package where you get only games on the weekends. This is perfect if your schedule does not allow you to get to the game during the week. Another package includes one game from each series so that you can see every opponent that the Diamondbacks play during the season. Finally, the Diamondbacks have created a 12-pack which gives you tickets to a dozen games during the season.

    If you are more than a casual fan, you might be interested in Season Tickets. Season Tickets can be purchased for a partial season or for a whole season. There are still great seats available for both of these packages.

    Spring Training in Arizona is a rite of passage. It marks the ending of winter and gives fans an excuse to begin thinking of baseball. The Arizona Diamondbacks make their spring home in Tucson Arizona at the friendly confines of Tucson Electronic Park.

    Within this section of the site you will be able to find all the information necessary to share in the spring experience of Cactus League baseball. You will find a description of Tucson Electric Park including field dimensions. You will find a map to help you find your way to the ballpark. And once you get there, you will be well informed since the site also provides a seating chart of where you will be sitting and how much tickets will cost you at the gate.

    Finally you will find a Spring Training schedule for the current year as well as schedules from every year of the Diamondbacks existance. This will allow you a great resource to research how the Diamondbacks play each spring. The schedule is updated with wins and losses to give you all the game data you will need to enjoy an afternoon or evening at the ballpark.

    Ticket prices for games at Tucson Electric Park remain very affordable with prices ranging from $3 to $16 per game. Tucson residents have the opportunity to purchase tickets in early January at the annual ''Tucson First'' event. Sales of game tickets open to the general public a week later at the Tucson Electric Park box office located at 2500 East Ajo Way or by calling 520-434-1111.
