The 2006 regular season for the Arizona Diamondbacks began with a 3-game road series against the Colorado Rockies at Coors Field. Interleague play featured teams from the American League West with visits by the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim and Seattle Mariners. The Diamondbacks travelled to the Texas Rangers, Oakland Athletics, and the American League East Tampa Bay Rays. The season ended with a 3-game series at Chase Field with the San Diego Padres on September 28 - October 1.
